1. Matter tends to be cycled within an ecosystem, while energy is transformed and eventually exits an ecosystem
Required Reading: Biology: Miller & Levine - Chapter 3 (Pg. 62-93) & Chapter 4 (Pg. 134-135, Logistic Growth and Carrying Capacity)
Hint: Look at the end of the unit assessments, I will be utilizing questions similar to the ones presented there.
Lectures, videos presented in class, and all topics discussed in class and in your book are fair game for this test. Good Luck.
Test format will be Student-Paced and we will use the clickers, expect T/F, Multiple Choice, Fill-in-the-blank, Short Answer, Arrangement, and an essay question. Answers will be posted shortly after the test.
(also see pages under 1st quarter energy and matter under the biology tab above for information I have yet to migrate to this page.)
Selected answers to Packet 1 (3.2 &3.3)
Selected Answers to Packet 2 (3.4)
If you have any last minute questions, please email me @ [email protected]. This is the quickest way to get a hold of me.
